If I’m right…it looks like one of those NASTY earwigs, which give me the eebie-jeebies and creeps for real! They are my LEAST favorite bug! I Hate, Hate, Hate them…but, even if I’m wrong and it’s not one of those earwig things…it’s still nasty looking and I don’t like it. At all. I think my fear for those earwig looking things came from a Star Trek episode I SHOULDN’T have watched when I was little.

It totally freaked me out when I saw it. It was long like that one, but had a ton of really long spiderly legs and then two really long antenneas and then it was all striped. When I hit it, most of the legs fell off, but it was really squirmy. It took me a while to totally get it, even when it was dead, out of the room. Bugs like that that I don’t recognize really make me jibbly. I fully empathize.
