Joey and Cuz can both ride unicycles. It’s really nerdy and I’m jealous.
Cuz, it just so happens, had an extra unicycle laying around that he picked up for free somewhere. So yesterday, he stopped over with it and gave it to me. I was ecstatic. I have often wanted to learn to ride a unicycle so I could be just as nerdy as Joey, but my legs are too short to reach the pedals on his (I’ve tried before, it’s not possible) and I just fall over.
Joey had to study, so he sent Cuz and I out to the fields so I could have my very first unicycle lesson.

The one on the left is Joey's (which Cuz was riding) and the one on the right is mine. Mine is oodles shorter.

Here is a picture of my first attempt at sitting on the unicycle. Risky. I have to hold onto the wall or I'd totally wipe out.

Riding unicycle is hard work. I banged up my left shin really badly from something, unsure what, and I needed a break. Plus it was eleventy billion degrees outside.

So I still can't ride the thing without being next to a wall or fence, but I did make one complete rotation with the pedals before wiping out. And this is me about to wipe out.
So I think I still have at least three more weeks of practice ahead of me, but the goal is by the next time Cuz comes over, we’ll all ride our unicycles to Baskin Robbins so people can make rude comments about “the circus” or whatever else they think is witty. (Someone totally called Cuz and I the circus yesterday. I stuck my tongue out at them.)
So Cuz better not show up tomorrow or I’ll die on the way to Baskin Robbins.

Unicycles are cool. You know they are because when you’re riding one, it’s obvious that everyone around is staring at you thinking, “I wish I could do that…” I’ve tried riding a unicycle, but it never went very well.
they’re just jealous cause they still have a training wheel.
