We made pizza on Monday night.

The Kid was like, “WOAH, PIZZA!”

We had pepperoni, sausage, hamburger, Canadian bacon, cheddar and mozzarella; everyone piled the toppings of their choice on their particular piece of pizza crust real estate.
While we were waiting for the pizzas to finish baking so we could watch Cats & Dogs (which is just as stupid as you thought it was – don’t worry), The Kid and I had a spontaneous dance par-tay.
OK, well, not really. I blame The Kid for putting Madonna on. (I mean…who can’t dance poorly whenever Madonna is playing?) At first The Kid was mostly just standing there eating potato chips, and Joey was taking pictures of the tulips….
…when it all started.
I won’t dance in public, but in my kitchen?

Heck yeah.

The Kid kept eating potato chips for awhile, but pretty soon, he got bitten by the “You really can’t dance and I guess I probably can’t either” bug.

He popped the last chip in his mouth and BAM!
There it went.

No, wait. He was still eating chips while he tried to be as awesome as me. (See, the chip hand has just left his mouth in this picture. I guess he really liked the chips we bought.) And that would be me doing “The Sprinkler”.
Please tell me you’ve heard of it.

And this one would be “The Pushmower.” (Because of the movement you make when you have to start it, like so.)
Poor The Kid got hungry again and had to have more chips. (We really should have gotten the larger bag of those things.)

Here we have me demonstrating “The Car Wash” and The Kid is beginning to bust out “The Sprinkler”. (At least that’s what we think he’s doing.)

This is definitely “The Sprinkler” now. No doubt about it.

The Kid broke out his secret weapon…”The Shopping Cart”, which was pretty amazing.

Oh….Oh….What is the The Kid doing? Is that….is that…
IT IS! It’s not a lame dance party without some Disco.
The whole dance party didn’t last very long, just the length of the Madonna song, but it was some good times reliving the dances we used to have at Iowa State. Pretty sure we did all those moves, too. I rocked “The Pushmower” even back then.
Good times…good times.
And then the pizza was done and we suffered through Cats & Dogs.
