I saw a special about skunks on PBS once…or Discovery or Animal Planet…I dunno, one of dem learnin’ shows…and the guys that specialized in skunk business was born without a sense of smell…so, pretty much, he was made for that job. It’s nice that they can be de-stinkified so you don’t have to give up your sense of smell or wish you didn’t have one, like the dude I was talking about. Get a skunk, Jenna…that would be stinkin’ (no pun intended) sweet.

My dad actually had a pet skunk when he was a kid (he had every animal as a pet – my grandfather would bring abandoned babies home from the oil fields). My grandmother says it was actually one of her favorite pets. Very smart and a lot of fun.

I think it would be kind of cool to have a pet skunk. That said, I am not going to find out if it’s legal in OK to have one, as my current house could not really comfortably fit a second animal and Guillermo would not be a good outdoor dog right now.
