OK, y’all are amazing.  Joey and I are totally overwhelmed by everyone’s generosity and support.  Thank you, thank you EVERYONE.

We’re in a prettty good spot right now.  Our house is clean (super clean, I scrubbed our toilet with my bare hands this morning…not sure why, I just felt like I needed to), Joey’s at the grocery store right now, we currently have three meals in our freezer, and I’m making two more this afternoon.

We are (almost) ready for anything.

OK, lies, we’re not.  But we at least we have food and the trash has been taken out.

Both of my elbows are aching from all the blood I’ve sacrificed in the last few days.  I am so done with doctors and all their poking, prodding and “oh, let’s get some more blood out of you, just to see if you’re still alive” bright ideas.

We think we’re going to go do something “wild and crazy” tonight.  (Read: we may go see a movie at the non-cheap theater.)

Last night, Joey and I fell asleep holding hands.  No matter how bad my elbows hurt, the fact that there’s absolutely no point in putting on any makeup on (it doesn’t stay on very long), and the stress of juggling all the unknowns for the next few days…at least I have him.
