27.5 weeks

I’ve been taking some flack, mainly from siblings and/or other relations, for having such an out of date picture of The Child up on my FB page.  So, today we went to take “Before” panorama shots of our house, and Joey decided that we’d take another shot of mah belly.

Ohhhh it’s lovely.  JUST LOVELY.

Dear Face, please go back to your normal size after November.  It would be much appreciated.  Love, Jenna

Isn’t the brick wall about fifteen kinds of fun?  We’re painting the kitchen a medium shade of gray, and I think it will look delicious.  We’re also sanding and painting the cabinets white, and they’re against the other two walls.  Anyway, that’s my kitchen wall.

And my belly.

And my gigantor head.

About jennawoestman

Joey is my best friend. We welcomed our miracle baby, Analie Alexa on November 23, 2010. She was 7 lbs of cuteness and we are so thankful for her. We lost our first baby (who we symbolically named Samuel) the summer of 2009. I love being a Christian, even when it's hard. I've tried IVF. Twice. It worked. Once. That's how we got Analie. I'm always willing to talk about infertility. Diagnosis: Stage 4 Endometriosis (plus a few other bonus things) I'm live in Indiana. I enjoy reading and going for walks in the evening. I get my news from NPR. Someday I want to be a guest on Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me. I love backpacking, hiking, canoeing and survival camping. I'm a big fan of weekends. My bike's name is Thunder. I'm a youth pastor's wife. I dig cows. I don't handle stress well. I'm not good at fishing; I talk too much. Cooking and baking are my favorite. I love hanging out with my girlfriends! I'm a budding environmentalista. I love me my Joey. Texas is where we "came of age". I enjoy seeing animals and want my very own Alpaca. And Koala. And Panda. Conservation is beautiful. I'm a neat freak. I like all-natural, chemical-free, environmentally-friendly products. Green is my favorite color. Still.

  1. YOU LOOK SO CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Don’t worry, Sister, all that water WILL go away:-) It does take like 6 weeks, though, I couldn’t get my ring on again until like 2 months post partum. Something else encouraging I learned about the weight gained during pregnancy is that your body stores up fat that it then uses to produce the milk for your baby long-term–yay!

  3. Look at that belly! How sweet. Hello, baby!

  4. Both of you are beautiful! And a brick walled kitchen sounds very modern. Pictures of the before and afters at a later date, please!
