We need a REVIVAL!!!

Yeah, not the old-timey tent meeting revival.  (Although, who can say.  Some of you may need that kind of revival too.) We need a BABY NAME REVIVAL from the list of deleted names.  Because Joey and I got to thinking over the weekend that IF we should actually delivery this baby past her due date…we are sort of out of names.  And we can’t be havin’ y’all figuring out what her name is before she’s born.

It just won’t do.  Aaaaaaand I just typed the word “due” instead of “do”.  I think this means I may be getting ready to have this baby.

And so then.

Please vote accordingly on the below poll.  On Wednesday morning I’ll close the poll, and Joey and I will revive the TWO most popular names from this list and they will be added back into the running.

37 weeks on Wednesday.  And counting…

The Name Game: Week 13

This morning, I got up and went to Bed Bath and Beyond, where I purchased drawer organizers for my utensil drawer that was overflowing.  (I think my utensils may have been breeding, because every time I tried to open it, it was getting more difficult.) Fortunately, my drawer measurements were spot on and the organizers I purchased fit in perfectly.  And, oddly enough, now that they are in place and filled with my utensils (of which I have more than average, it’s no secret)…somehow everything fits better.

I do not understand.

After that I straightened up my house and then made a huger mess of it by laying out all the baby clothes I have been given in the recent few months.  I wanted to see what I had and what we might wind up needing.  And then I left all the piles on the floor so I could show Joey when he gets home later, so it looks like I just went through the house making chaos.

Oh, and I have been making meals and freezing them for after the baby is born, and today’s project was a batch of chicken noodle soup.  So…all those dishes are still in the sink because my dishwasher wasn’t finished with its cycle yet.

So much for straightening up the house.  I think I’ll just go ahead and clean it tonight anyway.  We’re getting our air ducts suctioned out two weeks from yesterday (HALLELUJAH!) because I am convinced that they are totally clogged up.  I dusted the house last week and 24 hours later, everything was dusty again.  That’s just not right, I tell you.  Also…homeslices before us had a cat, and Pops told me that cats fur and dander gets all sucked up into the ductwork.  (Whatever Pops says is usually true.)  It’ll be nice to have it all gone bye-bye before the baby comes.

It’ll be fun to pay a bajillion dollars for Mighty Ducts to come and blast our ducts clean.  Can’t hardly wait.

Anyway…you don’t care about my ducts.  I bet you don’t even care about your own ducts.  Whatevs.

Here’s the results on the name poll from yesterday in which you were supposed to vote for your most favoritest name.  (I realize that favoritest is not an official word, but this is my blog which is basically the same thing as my own universe; on this blog it is a word.)

Resultage:

  1. Analie – 30%
  2. Piper – 27.27%
  3. Olivia – 11.82%
  4. Zerubabella – 11.82%
  5. Isabelle – 7.27%
  6. Wren – 5.45%
  7. Elinor – 3.64%
  8. Darcy – 1.82%
  9. Frances – 0.91%

Oh man.  Zerubabella is having a great run.  I love it.

So…Joey and I decided last week that we’d delete the top name voted name and the bottom voted name.  This means that Analie and Frances are now DELETED.

Betcha didn’t see that one coming, eh.

Me and Joey, we like to stir up the pot.  Mix it up, as it were.
